First Christian Church supports the Christian Women's Job Corps. They offer hope through opportunity by providing a Christian context where women are equipped for life and employment, where women help women. These computers were donated and refurbished by FCC members.

4/1/2010 THERE IS A NEED FOR TWO USED COMPUTERS FOR STUDENTS. Please contact Kim or Jim Froemke if you have any available.

The FCC Bible Study gals are volunteering their time and meals to the CWJC students. Can we also count on you?

Task Frequency

Provide Lunch for the Class

Once per month or once per semester;

11:30-1:00 Mon-Thurs

Administrative Help

Various times Mon-Friday during the 12 week semester

Teacher or teacher’s aide

Two hours per week during the 12 week semester

Mentor

One hour per week for 6 months (usually at lunchtime)

Assist with Special Events

Graduation, spring style show

Food Pantry/Needs Basket

Organize/provide donations as needed

Prayer Team

Weekly prayer updates are provided by email

Community Outreach

Distribute brochures to local agencies as needed

Clothes Closet

Organize once per week

Financial Giving

Ongoing

Facility Maintenance (Indoor and Outdoor)

Two hours per week year round
